More animals are hurt in Africa by snares than shot by poachers. Millions of primitive wire traps will continue to maim wildlife for decades, unless they are disarmed. That’s the job of Uganda’s Snare Removal team who must search and destroy Kibale Park’s 15,000 active snares.
